Bytown Ski Club

Welcome back for another year. To purchase membership for this season just go to our powerup website https://bytownskiclub.powerupsports.com/  and you can add the products to your cart. Adult ski club membership will be $15 until December 31^st, and then $20 after January 1^st, 2027. Child memberships will remain $5 throughout the season.

We will be returning again this year with regular bus trips to Mont Tremblant throughout the season. We are still finalizing the details and will be opening registration near the end of the month. Tentative dates (all on Fridays) are below.

The Ottawa Ski show is running this year October 17^th and 18^th: https://ottawaskishow.com/ at the same location on 4899 Uplands Drive. They’ll be doing their ski swap and gear sale, along with vendors of all sorts. This year we’ll be holding a draw to win a free annual membership and a free seat on one of our Tremblant buses, along with special discounts for any ski members who show up.

Mont Tremblant SkiMax tickets are on sale now. You can purchase them by visiting the Tremblant website and using the Bytown ski club promo code (see our hill discounts page). Skimax tickets are transferable and purchasing through clubs like ours gives you the opportunity to get the cheapest possible price on early purchase of Tremblant lift passes. This year they are offering a Monday-to-Friday rate of $87 per ticket, or $95 per ticket also valid on weekends. Both types still have some blackout dates throughout the year. Prices for skimax tickets increase on October 22^nd, 2026.

The ski club will be holding its annual AGM for the 2026-27 season on Friday October 2^nd, 2026 at the Royal Oak restaurant in Centrepointe (117 Centrepointe Drive). The AGM will start at 6pm and we’ll get down to business at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend and there will be free nachos for club members. If you are interested in volunteering with the ski club please reach out to info@bytownskiclub.ca or feel free to drop by the AGM.

The Bytown Ski Club 2027 Austrian ski vacations to Ischgl and Kirchberg are now sold out. A trip information meeting will take place on Wednesday January 6, 2027 from 6:30 -7:30 pm at Centrepointe Chamber.

Bytown Ski Club will be offering returning and new members the opportunity to experience two premiere Austrian Ski resorts in late January-early February 2027, Ischgl and Kirchberg-Kitzbuhel, Austria. Please refer to the “Trips” page here under “Club Activities”and the Touringhouse Travel website at www.touringhouse.com for all the details of these exciting all-inclusive ski vacations. Registration opens on July 21st, 2026.

Unfortunately we will cancel our meet and ski tomorrow.

Our bus trip Friday March 13th to Mont Tremblant is a go. There is still room on the bus and registration will be open until Tuesday March 10th. Details about the trip are posted on the trips page of this website, and an email will be sent to all riders a few days before the trip

Glen from the ski club exec will be holding a meet-and-ski this Sunday February 22^nd at Mont Ste Marie. We’ll be meeting at 1:30pm at the base of the hill, skiing for a couple hours, and then grabbing free nachos for club members at 4pm at the pub. If you plan to join you can send us an email to coordinate rendezvous details, or feel free to just drop by the pub and find us wearing a Bytown shirt.
