2020 – 2021 ski season news

Tremblant has decided not to offer SkiMax tickets for sale this year, so we will not be selling them. Hopefully we will be able to sell them next year. Please note that if you have any tickets left over from last year, they will be valid all season this year. Remember to check the Tremblant website to get information on how to plan your ski trip as Covid restrictions will be in effect this winter.

Greetings,

Unfortunately this year due to Covid-19 restrictions, the ski club will only be offering a restricted program of events this year.

  • We are currently awaiting information from the various ski hills about what their operations will be like, which in turn depend upon what the provincial governments allow, which as you all know, seem to be changing frequently right now. Stay tuned and we will let you know when we do.
  • Mont Tremblant currently has not decided whether to offer SkiMax tickets for sale this year or not. If they do, the sales process from our end will be streamlined, eliminating in person ticket pickup. As soon as they let us know, we will let you know.
  • We will not be organizing any day bus trips to any ski hills this year. Covid and packing a bunch of people on a bus for a couple of hours don’t go well together. Additionally we will not be organizing any week long trips this year for the same reason.
  • The Coldwell-Banker office at 2 Hobin St. StittsvilleĀ  that has been offering us drop off and pickup service over the last few years will not be offering them this year. Please do not go there to drop off cheques. Hopefully next season we will be back working with them again for your convenience.

We are however busy thinking up some new fun activities that we can organize for our members, both on alpine and cross country terrain, that can be done observing social distancing rules. Stay tuned for details to follow soon.
