We’ll be returning again with a booth at this weekend’s Ottawa Ski Show. We’ll have a draw to win an annual ski club membership and a trip on one of our bus trips to Tremblant. This year we’re also offering a special additional $2 off our annual membership if you sign up online by October 20th.

This year, we are offering a special Ottawa Ski Show Discount on adult membership until October 20th, saving an additional $2. Prices will increase throughout the season at the prices in the table below:

• $8 adult membership until October 20^th
• $10 adult membership until November 30^th
• $15 adult membership until Dec 31^st
• $20 membership after Jan 1^st

Child memberships will remain $5 throughout the season.

The ski club will be holding its annual AGM for the 2025-26 season on October 16th, 2025 at 7pm at the Royal Oak restaurant in  (117 Centrepointe Drive). Everyone is welcome to attend and there will be free nachos for club members.

If you are interested in volunteering with the ski club please reach out to info@bytownskiclub.ca or feel free to drop by the AGM. There are lots of opportunities to volunteer. The ski club executive is made up of volunteers who meet about 8 times per year (usually virtually) and hold formal roles for voting and club organization, or if you are interested in volunteering in a lighter commitment we could use help at the Ottawa Ski Show or on trips throughout the year. Just reach out and we’d be happy to have your help.

The club will returning to Europe with two trips this winter. Registration is now open, and there will be an information session on Tuesday September 9th. See the trips page on our website for full details.

Our trip to Morzine France was a great success, and a trip report is uploaded to our trips page. News to follow over the summer about next year’s planned trips.

Our last bus trip of the season to Tremblant this Sunday March 16th is a go. There is still plenty of room and we’ll keep registration open until Friday. We’ll be giving away two free adult skimax passes and provided lots of snacks.

We’ll be hosting a meet and ski event this Sunday at MSM. We’ll meet at noon at the base of the hill, ski for a half day until 3:45pm, and then meet at the pub for nachos and a drink at 4pm. Ski club members will receive free nachos at the pub on behalf of the club. If you’d like to join you can send an rsvp to info@bytownskiclub.ca, or pop in to the pub at the end and find us wearing a club t-shirt.
